Quiz broken

Tried the free version before trying the full version. But the quiz doesnt work properly, on some questions the correct answer is not one of the options. Then there is no way to continue with the quiz. Just as a word dictionary it is vey nice.

Poor

Very small vocabulary of signs. Maybe 10 that are useful at most. Good idea but not helpful

Perfect!

Works exactly as I hoped. I learned a lot!

Baffled

I downloaded the free version to see if I liked this app before I downloaded the paid version. I looked at the signs and am completely confused: purple, number 8, alligator??how are these signs useful when youre just beginning sign language with a child? I realize the paid version would likely have more of the signs I need to start (hurt? Eat?), but Im so irritated Im thinking Ill pass. Wouldnt it be more constructive to give some of the first useful signs in your free version in order to get your users "hooked" so that theyd want to buy more?

Food??

Like others, I am very disappointed in this lite app. Im looking for the very basics. Would it have killed you to give us more generic - and dare I ask - healthy food options than "bacon" and "ice cream"? How about simply "food"?

not useful

I downloaded this to get a useful sign to see if I could teach it to my baby before buying the full version. I figured there might be a few useful words to start with. Instead, there were all inane words that I would not need to use in "conversation" with my baby for a while. Completely useless!

Stinks

They give you absolutely no useful signs in this lite app. Clearly the goal is to make you pay for the real app. But why not throw us a bone like eat, sleep or one or two useful words? Alligator and bacon are not likely to whet my babysigning appetite! Think it through people! This just makes me annoyed and over it.

Quiz feature - useless

I realize they dont want to give away the basic words (eat, food, more). But why would the quiz feature give me two options that were both wrong answers -that helps no one. Nothing that I saw in this lite version makes me want to spend money on a more complete list of more useful words.

Good idea, a little lacking in execution

I think this app leverages video well, but they need to fix the quiz bug before I buy (currently only two answers are visible - the third option is hidden at the bottom).

Not an accurate sample of a great application

the quiz section of this fine application only contains 2 choices when it ought to show 3 choices. Although the free version is only a sample, it ought to be an accurate sample of the full and complete version. Nevertheless, Id give this application 5 STARS

Delivery method ok but not a useful free app

As others mentioned the quiz bug is very annoying. This should be repaired in the free version. Also there are numerous basic signs such as milk, bottle, more, please, thank you that should be covered in the free app

Awesome App!!!

I was looking for a sign language app that was more than drawings or pictures. This app is awesome!!! This is the lite version and I didnt expect it to have everything I was looking for. I just wanted to try it out to see how the app worked and to see if I liked it. I will be buying the full version right now. A few great features of this app are that it shows a real person demonstrating the sign and there is a quiz on guessing what the sign is like flash cards which our 21 month old is really into right now.

Useful Basic Words & Fix Quiz :-(...

I agree with everyone else. I too downloaded this "free" app to see if I would like the layout of this app before purchasing the "full" version. The "free" app should be an entisement for people to want the "full" version. The few words that you give are off the wall & the quiz is all screwed up. It gives signs BUT the right word is NOT shown. At first I thought I was wrong then I realized that one answer is not showing. It is somehow covered up & no way to get to it, so the quiz tells you you are wrong. If you want people to buy the "full" version you need to give them a few useful basic words & fix the quiz in this "free" version. I will not buy the "full" version if the quiz is not working properly in the "free" version. It makes me think that the $4.99 "full" version will be screwed up too.

Very limited in scope

Not impressed

Boring to watch, quiz doesnt work...

I found myself writing what others wrote in their reviews. Fix the quiz bug in the lite version before I consider buying the $5 version. I really enjoyed the Signing Time app instead because the signing tutor actually describes the sign creatively. This app maker should watch Signing Time and take notes...

Quiz problems

Video is fine but you cant see all the choices for the quiz making it so that you really cant use that function at all.

Excellent

This is awesome. I downloaded the light version and the same day sprung for the full version. This one is better than the others out there, with good video of an actual person doing the signs, and has most of the signs you could use with a baby. My 5-year old daughter is even using it to sign with her baby bro.

Blargh.

Would not even open for me. Flashes loading and closes.

Stupid

I mean its ok but it did not teach me any thing I wanted to know or any word that it was going to tell me so yea dont buy I repeat dont buy

Great tool

They must have fixed the bugs because I found this app flawless as far as function. It was motivating and my son and I drilled all the free words on one day. We have never signed before so it was encouraging to see that we could learn some basics in a short time. Already bought the full version and we are very happy with it. Happy signing to all!
